Mission Taqueria

Delicious! Nat came the day prior and brought me here for her second meal in two days. The carne asada tacos were decent- I felt that the mahi mahi ones were significantly better. Wish I had had room for the carnitas ones. Their tres leche cake is pretty unique with a dash of mango- but still tasty in its own right. Also they have gender neutral bathrooms. Service was blazing fast which we loved, since we were trying to catch the Amtrak back to Boston.

We came here for electic vibes and really good tacos. This is popular happy hour spot so it does tend to get busy. The vibes are great. The service is great. We ordered cocktails, guac and chips, tostada embarazada, quesabirria quesadillas to start off. Everything was good, especially the quesadillas. I loved dipping that on the consomme. Then we got 3 tacos (nuevo chicken, carnitas, and carne asada). All of them were bomb! All in all, this place gets high marks from me. Highly recommed if you want good vibes, cocktails, and some tacos.

The portions are kind of small for the price, but the food quality was very good. I would go there just for the guacamole it was outstanding. Our less than friendly female waitress with what seemed to be a southern accent. Gave off a hostile / I don't enjoy my job vibe from the minute we were seated. When she handed us our check, announcing that a 20% gratuity was automatically applied to the bill I was pretty stunned (for a party of two). For that reason alone, I will be finding a different favorite Mexican restaurant!
