Mimi's Cafe

Restaurant was virtually empty at 9:30 am.. We were greeted and asked to wait while a table was readied. It took awhile. A second staff greeted us and repeated the questions the first staff asked. The original staff finally returned and seated us. Service was even slower. Our server was attentive but food service didn't improve. Food was simple but satisfying. There were still many available tables when we left at 11:30 am.

I was disappointed in this particular mimi's Cafe. Please observe the pictures I took of my roasted half chicken. Now my spinach and my broccoli were good. I also had a garden salad without the croutons with a balsamic vinaigrette. I have eaten at other cafes in other states and never had this issue before. My chicken was very undercooked to the point when I separated the leg from the breast blood poured all over my plate. My father had the same dish except he had broccoli and string beans as his two sides. His chicken was overcooked. I did not take a picture of his food. I did not make a scene I only ate what I could I hope I don't get sick. I did take a big risk and ate some of the uncooked chicken. I was very disappointed in my meal that was over $21 including the garden salad that was $3.99. Vegetarian options: I do not currently eat any carbs or any food that is considered starch. So they had enough vegetables for me to eat with my chicken.

Dalia our waitress did an excellent job. Our experience was very pleasant. The food arrived in a timely manner. We had an awesome time!
