Miller & Lux Restaurant

Great service. I was with my 8 month old. They were so nice to him. Everything we order was delicious especially lobster and tomahawk. Clam chowder was not something I expected but it was tasty. I’d say it wasn’t really soup more like a dipping sauce.

We went to this place on 4/1/2022 for dinner. - Service: 5/5. very attentive and they even iron the table cloth every time. I never had to ask for water as it was very prompt all the time. - Food: 2/5. We ordered the most expensive steak on the menu, porterhouse ($175). We ordered medium rare and they brought us medium. Also, they cut the steak very thin like the beef roast, so it didn’t even look like a steak. Also, we waited 1 hr for the porterhouse. - Ambiance: 2/5. They want to take as many people as possible so they divided one booth into two. There was a couple right next to us it’s like you’re eating with them. it was very uncomfortable especially when we were paying $175 porterhouse steak. Conclusion: we won’t be going back to this place.

My husband and I had dinner there on Wednesday. We had a beyond amazing experience.Anytime my husband and I travel, we go to our favorite chefs restaurants if we can. The food was unbelievable! I don’t want to bore you with my amateur review…but we were blown away by the food. The staff provided the best service I have ever had at a restaurant. They were all so professional with these amazing personalities. They were informative and super attentive. They were all wonderful. I have been to so many restaurants, where the staff try so hard to be prim and proper…the staff had the perfect balance of professionalism and awesome personalities. I think that is a big reflection of you Chef T.F. We will recommend this restaurant to anyone who will listen. Thank you to the staff for the best experience, in SF and beyond.
