Pabellón Arepa: Really juicy shredded beef with plump black beans and slightly pungent cotija. Love it. The corn bread part is pretty dense and filling. Guasacaca (dark green): spicy sauce with hints of lime? Picante (light green): This tastes like a chimichurri sauce.
Nice place with artisanal decor. Authentic Venezuelan food made fresh so getting your order may take some time. My first experience at Mil Jugos was nice. The food was tasty but limited on vegetarian/ vegan options. Their menu offers a variety of dishes (including gluten free fare) without being overwhelmed by your choices. I definitely recommend this place.
This review is way overdue, but never late than never. I have been going to Mil Jugos for years because of the following reasons: - Taste - Service - Location - Price This is a small family-owned business, and I think they treat all of their customers like family because I have been treated like one! By the way, I highly recommend the following two items: - Empanadas (Jamon y Queso, Black beans & cheese, or Hawaiana) - Passion fruit juice
