Mikado Japanese Seafood Buffet

I love their location in Lake Mary and I wanted to try out the buffet. The pictures online make it seem larger on the inside but it’s not that big. The Quality of the sushi is 100% better at the Lake Mary location but when you’re doing a Buffet you can’t expect the best but the sushi was good for the price. it’s confusing for your first time because you don’t really understand how to work the Buffet and the workers just stand there and look at you LOL there are special instructions on how to order the hibachi and the soup. The waitress was super sweet & helpful wish I could remember her name. We definitely got our money worth, also ordered beer, sake & Boba tea. I will definitely return one day but still love my Lake Mary location

Okay this is probably the only decent sushi buffet left in central Florida, so I say this with the most gratitude. I am also comparing this to some better ones I've been to in California and Las Vegas. I drove all the way from Tampa to go here for the sushi variety. I appreciate the effort to provide a decent spread, however the replenishment of certain items was lacking and the sushi rice was too sour and tart lacking a subtle sweetness to balance out the flavor. This is an issue because no matter how good the sushi ingredients are, a bad flavor profile for the sushi rice will ruin it all. Also many of their sashimi salads and seafood salads lacked flavor and appear to be sloppily flavored and seasoned. Once again bland or just sour. Lacking a more complex and well thought out flavor profile. Service was okay,the lady cleared plates and refilled drinks. The gentleman who welcomed us is stern and appears to play the role of the "pit boss." All in all give it a go and see what you thin

Excellent service, good ambiance! The food was delicious they have a variety of sushi rolls, a hibachi grill and many soup flavors that you can order. You can get boba tea too!
