Mikado Japanese Cuisine

Nice sushi spot with good ambiance and decent space. There is seating inside and out - curb side as well. They have a good happy hour that seems to be everyday with lots of specials on drinks and sushi. They have a large selection of items on their menu, from hibachi to sushi and ramen. Their sushi grade level wasn't the best I've tasted, but for the price it was on par and certainly was edible. Service was good and pleasant during a busy hour. This is not a bad stop for a shopping center sushi spot, especially during happy hour time.

Best sushi in the area. Fish is fresh, preparation excellent, and service always friendly with good cheer. Take out ramped up quickly during the pandemic; fun to go back to eating inside. Happy Hours are great value

The decor in this place was definitely a 4 out of 5 for me. I loved all the Japanese touches they had everywhere. The only knock I have would be the lighting. It was very yellowish. The service was a 3 out of 5. I don't know if the server was new but he kept us waiting before he would come take our order. I also asked what he would recommend and he didn't suggest anything he liked or his customers liked. I wish I had gotten his name so the restaurant could give the feedback. He was very nice and so I'm not saying he was bad just needs improvement in a couple of areas of service. We order several dishes to try out and for the most part they were good. Some of the dishes lacked the flavor bombs I was hoping for. The shrimp fried rice had a good flavor but it was missing some salt and garlic flavors. The rolls we had were very tasty which I loved. A couple other dishes helped round out a very decent meal. I would have to give the food a 3 out of 5. I would definitely come back and recomme
