Michael's Grill

Let me preface this by saying that yes, the menu items are expensive. The location is unusual for such an upscale and pricey menu; located in a strip of other stores. This was our first visit here, and we almost missed the turn on Country Club because it wasn't marked. We came before Christmas, so they had a plethora of Santa figures, seasonal decor, and Christmas music piping in from the speakers. Very warm and welcoming. We saw Michael as we sat down and he was very amiable. The restaurant is a bit of an unusual hybrid of elegance and sports bar. The crab cakes were amazing and my burger was quite sizable and delicious. The house bread is crunchy—like large croutons. Not my favorite. As time passed the restaurant filled with more patrons and our server became more scarce. That's the main reason for a lost star. If we're paying good money we should not have to wait over five-plus minutes for a refill or dessert.

Ordered the Sirloin burger, got the tenderloin sandwich. Asked server about it and he said it was the correct meal. Took it home and threw it in the trash. It was not good. Won’t ever go back

Unbelievably rude, Wow! Never been, intrigued by the online presence, decided to make a reservation, however no Online Offer to do so. No link provided anywhere... ? Strange I thought so decided to start calling even tho they don't open til 6pm. It was approx 4:20pm. I called several times, just in case - wanted to surprise someone coming into town. I didn't "expect" a table but wasn't sure why no ability to make a reservation wasn't avail? So I figured I'd leave a msg. I decide to call back at 5:25, Guy answers andI tried asking him if folks call several days in advance for this place or how it works cuz I'd been calling since about 4pm w/no answer. The guy tells me "what? you haven't called that long and to expect to get in 30 min b4 we open...?" I was shocked really... The audacity of someone to be so careless, wow. This guy was so flippant and ungrateful, obviously for his place of his or his position I just couldn't believe the phoneetiquette. Now I will n ever visit. .
