Meyer's Restaurant Bar & Banquet Hall

My wife and I have eaten here twice in the last couple of months. The first visit was for dinner. We both had the broasted chicken and thought it was quite good. We had breakfast today and thought the food we ordered was also very good. The service both times was excellent. My only other comment has to do with charging a "processing fee" for using a credit card. We eat out quite often and I don't recall ever paying a surcharge for using a credit card.

Four of us met at Meyer's because their website says big and bold "All you can eat broasted chicken" special on Monday's for $10. Three of us ordered the chicken, and one ordered the fettucine Alfredo. The bill was over $80, We were like that just doesn't add up. The chicken was actually $13 each, and the fettucine was $17.70. Every soda was charged. It was just ridicules. When we questioned Parker, he was very nice. He said the Website prices are wrong, and need to be updated. WHAT??? Isn't that false advertising. He said they get a lot of complaints about it. We were wondering why the parking lot was so empty. Stung once, but we won't be back anytime soon.

I went in there on a Sunday afternoon about 230 pm. They were not that busy. There were about 6 to 7 server i saw. We were sat and no one came and greeted us. They just kept walking past us. After 15 min of not even being greeted we left to go somewhere else. We went to The Brass Key the service was much better and drinks and food. I suggest you go down the street. As this restaurant did not greet us or anything after being sat. They obviously do not want your money or loyal customers. They lost our business.
