Clean. Friendly staff. Local Family Owned. There chips alone are worth the visit. White queso also good.
We have been to most of the Fort Worth area Mexican Inn restaurants throughout the 60+ years that we have lived in Fort Worth. The food is consistently good, the service is good as well, but I will focus on one complaint about the 8th Ave. location. The iced tea is made with tap water. That may not be a big deal to many but when you are charged close to $3 for a glass of tea, it should be good brewed tea with filtered water. If you have never been to Mexican Inn, don't let this review keep you away. Their corn tortillas are made fresh and are amazing. They are known for their chips that are also made from scratch. I have never been dissatisfied with the food. I especially love the taco salad and my husband enjoys the beef fajitas.
Great service. Nice waitress: Andrea Margaritas will get you THERE! Had the Arroz con pollo and mini Sopapillas. Nothing disappointed. Chips and salsa were the bomb! And I am not usually a big fan of chips n salsa but dannngg!
