Mexi-Go Restaurant & Bar

I don’t leave reviews often, but this was a lack luster and over priced experience. The salsa lacked any spice and had a strong cilantro taste, the queso was like something out of a can, and the food didn’t have a ton of flavor. My food came out completely wrong, and the beers are $9+ for a 16oz or less domestic draft. I also got charged wrong for my food that was delivered wrong in the first place and paid more because I was charged for a meat dish when I ordered a bean dish. I won’t be going back, but I get it’s a staple in the area. I had heard good things, but that just wasn’t the case in my experience.

Super good Tex Mex place with great service. They recently simplified their menu but still offer traditional plates as well as their signature specials. The chips they bring out are really thin and crispy and served warmed which is a nice touch. They have an excellent home made salsa that works on everything they serve. I love their bacon wrapped shrimp plate and their guacamole is excellent. Also we can't leave without sharing a nice warm sopapilla! This place is always great food and service!
