Excellent experience. Visiting for business, met some friends. Staff is approachable, knowledgeable, service is super. Food is upscale and exceptional! Wine list Excellent! Loved the pride flags, made us all feel very welcome. Romantic, chic, and yet unpretentious. Loved our evening at Metropole and highly recommend ????
Metropole is a chic restaurant situated at the base of the 21c Hotel and Museum. In all the the times I have eaten at Metropole, I have never had a bad dish. They take food and flavors to another level while remaining unpretentious. I went for my 25th birthday and had one of the most delicious dining experiences on my life...Seriously, I still dream about the dishes I ate that night. They change up the menu seasonally, so I highly recommend going back multiple times throughout the year to experience all they have to offer. I go with friends and we all order different menu items to share because there are always too many amazing eats to choose from. Also, shout-out to the burnt carrot salad because that dish is especially phenomenal. Who knows, you may also even make a new friend of the yellow penguin variety.
Fantastic evening at Metropole! The atmosphere was great and the moving penguins were a charming and quirky touch! The food was amazing! Our server, Kristin, was exceptional! She was so knowledgable and personable and helped to make our dining experience super enjoyable!
