I love finding places that check all the boxes. Clean, friendly servers/employees, great atmosphere, good food and fast. Came for breakfast and was impressed how quickly the staff was working. I was able to come in without any wait time or reservation and have a seat. Crystal was our server and she was pleasant and gave some solid suggestions for your next visit. We sat, ordered, and ate our breakfast in short time. The cook was nice and engaging. Food was hot and made like we ordered. Food ordered: French Toast with bacon, meat lovers omelette, and a pancake. Price was about $13-14 per person. They offered inside and outside seating and definitely had that 'at home' diner feel which was great. Easy to get to and close to plenty of shops and eateries off Ocseola Parkway and the Loop.
Metro Diner is an amazing place. The environment has a real diner feel to it. The server was really polite and very quick about everything. The prices are also really good. This was my first time so I didn’t know what to expect and I was very pleased. I will be returning to Metro Diner very soon. Highly recommend. Food is always great here! The portions are huge & prices are reasonable. Chicken and waffles are definitely a hit. I do recommend packing your patience as the wait for seating and food can be a little bit on the weekend. But definitely recommend!
