Mesquite BBQ has been an iconic barbecue restaurant in Mesquite, Texas since 1959. It began as a barbecue only restaurant, but has since then become a hybrid fast food restaurant with both barbecue and traditional fast food items on the menu. Patrons are met with wonderful Texas hospitality and are welcomed to enjoy their delicious, smoky barbecue and all of their other favorites.

Stuffed potato was really good. Lots of butter sour cream cheese...all of it. Topped it off with chopped brisket. Staff is very nice. The place is small though so keep that in mind, and its an old building but that kinda adds to its charm. My companions said the sides were very good...mac n cheese, green beans, potato salad and fries. I will definitely be back to try out the other meats. Oh and they smoke turkeys and hams for Thanksgiving ????
I had brisket which was absolutely amazing. So tender and juicy. Green beans and pintos are delicious too. My husband also had German sausage and chicken. The sausage was good but I didn't try the chicken. It's appeance didn't look as good as som BBQ chicken I've had. Overall it's really a great place for BBQ. Obviously they are doing things right since they have been here a long time.
The employees were super friendly. Place is small but cozy. The FOOD WAS ???????????? the brisket was so juicy and tender! Best brisket I've had in Texas so far. Easily. The sides were all really good too. No complaints! Kid-friendliness: It's meat and they have vegetables too.
