We used to go to the Meritage regularly for the Sunday brunch and occasional dinners, but we haven't been there in a few years. They changed the brunch, and the dinner menu is very limited. At one point, they completely changed staff, and the familiar faces and friendly atmosphere disappeared.
Stayed at the hotel for a birthday staycation. Made reservations for 7pm at the Meritage restaurant on September 23rd. Joshua, a server at the Meritage restaurant went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was a great experience. He was attentive, kind, and extremely understanding. Important to note- he did not know it was my birthday as we did not tell him. Thank you Joshua!
Crazy expensive breakfast buffet, which I wouldn’t mind normally paying for if it was worth it. But it really is not. I opted to order off their breakfast menu. The puffed rice French toast looked good, but was just ok.
