Memaw's Bar-B-Q

Easily accessible from the Main Thoughofare Babcock. Plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. Restaurant was clean and well staffed with Friendly employees. Restrooms were available and were clean. The menu has something for everyone. Plenty to choose from. The food was very delicious and cooked as ordered. The prices were very fair and the portions were more than adequate resulting in us requiring a to go box. Ribs, Wings, Hushpuppies, Corn Nuggets and Catfish were Great. Our waitress Shirley was a blast. Got the order perfectly and when we jazzed her she gave it right back and then some. Our kinda Gal! If you want good Barbacue give this restaurant a visit, I've eaten in a bunch of Barbacue restaurants and this is right up there. We will go back to eat again and ask for Shirley ????

Apparently this place promotes the spread of coronavirus. NOBODY WEARS A MASK. They don’t require masks nor did we see a single person working there wearing one. Our food wasn’t served all at once which was strange. They brought our sides out before the meal. I got sliced turkey which is thin, generic deli meat?? No taste and wasn’t even warm. Had to smother it in the “sweet” bbq sauce. Nothing was amazing or great and I was even asked halfway through eating if I’d like it boxed up AS I WAS EATING MY FOOD, FOOD BEING CHEWED IN MY MOUTH. Extremely rude, even if the food is bland.

Big portions, good prices, friendly waitress. Corn and coleslaw were mediocre. Garlic bread was good. It’s a little to dark in the dining room. I will go back.
