Melendez Mexican Restaurant

This was my first time visiting your restaurant. I ordered white cheese enchiladas with green sauce and the waitress ordered chicken enchiladas with white and green sauce. I was so unhappy because I specifically told her what I wanted. I didn't want to order again because I was on my lunch break and didn't have enough time to re order . I will never go back again. The waitress need to learn to listen and take the order correctly

I liked the tortillas, the tea was good. Sodas are cans or bottles(mex). The chips and salsa was different than most places kind of watery and not like a traditional tomato salsa. Green salsa was good. The carne guisada was more roast beef than guisada, barbacoa was good and not greasy, papas rancheros - the potatoes were boiled instead of fried and there was little to no ranchero sauce, bean and chorizo was soupy and smoky flavored. I didn’t hate it, but I probably won’t be back.

Food is delicious. They have great breakfast & lunch specials..... Warning! There tortillas are sooo good, you can't just have one?
