Mei Garden Asian fusion , Thai Vietnamese chinese food

The experience at this restaurant was ok. The chicken fried rice was alright.. but the veg spring rolls & veg lo mein noodles was disappointing. The veg spring rolls was soggy and not fried properly..filling had no salt. The veg lo mein noodles was not so great it looked unappetizing..snow peas were spoilt, baby corn & broccoli were chopped haphazard and all big, including the stem of the vegetables.. I had opted for take out, however the dining area was super messy & dirty with all the tables having eaten dishes..I wouldn’t come here again & I don’t recommend this place.

I moved to Georgia 6 years ago, and this is the first time I've found excellent fried rice and **wonton soup! And trust me I have travel all of Gainesville, Oakwood and adjacent cities looking for wonton soup. I was at this restaurant once when I first moved here and it wasn't great (I don't know if they have new management) so I never visited again. Your food is delicious and the flavors of the Wonton soup are there, however... I'm used to wontons that have a filling in them, these did not have any type of filling, it was just the Wonton wrappers. This was my second time visiting to buy soup, I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. But again major disappointment when I just got plain wrappers. BUT THE FLAVOR IS THERE, THE SOUP WAS DELICIOUS AND EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SOUP WAS EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR. YOUR SOUP IS GOOD, BUT THE WONTONS NEED TO BE FILLED! I'm still giving you a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because honestly the flavor and the price triumph over the empty wontons! ???????????? B

Staff is super friendly, quiet atmosphere and all around a hidden gem. Highly recommend getting the beef Pho, so far the best pho that’s around the area. Only thing I wish they would do is give us size options that way I can order the XL bowl.
