Great spot to bring the family. Our waitress was on point and attentive. I had the French Onion Soup and Patty Melt. Both were awesome and definitely fresh! The soup could've used more cheese and baked longer but it was still flavorful. An added bonus was our kids ate for free. I will definitely go back and try some of their other dishes. They also have an awesome bar with alot of different options. Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free! Parking: Huge parking lot with plenty of spots. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from the parking lot up to the entrance.
My husband and I went out for an early dinner at McWethy's. We arrived today (Friday) at around 4:30pm and were seated right away. (It is super busy later so reservations are recommended.) The views of the golf course are beautiful, even in winter! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. He recommended we begin with his blueberry mojito, which we did and it was delicious. We started with the shrimp bisque (soup of the day)--so flavorful, with least four full shrimp in the cup. My hubs had the New York strip (medium) and I chose the Faroe Islands salmon. The strip was a teeny chewy, in my opinion, but very tasty. The potatoes and the corn side with the strip were very good, as well (can you tell we shared?). The corn side had a nice zip to it. My salmon was moist and tender, and the farro was seasoned well, with a nice chew, and very good. We saved half of our entrees to take home, because we ordered dessert--a peanut butter IPA cake. I am beyond astounded by the entire McWethy's Tavern staff and their dedication and creativity. We called before we arrived and were advised by the receptionist that gluten free pasta and pizza options existed. When we got there, we were disappointed to learn that they in fact were not. To make it right, the chef came to our table to walk us through the entire menu and its gluten free (due to an allergy) options. The waitress was attentive and kind, and the manager also checked in on us to ensure we had a pleasant experience. We even received a complimentary, creatively GF dessert. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be returning ☺️
