McDonald's

This morning I woke up and saw that a bill had come out of my account that I wasn't anticipating. I was $100 overdrawn in my account. I have only until midnight to catch it up and so I went doordashing. Though it doesn't pay as much as my real job, it allows me to spend time with my pup. She's been through a great deal, as many of us have in the last couple years, and so to spend time with her is more important to me than ever. After door dashing in the heat(100-degree weather) we headed home I had no money obviously, so I used my points to get a free frappe at McDonalds. Lauren came out to bring it to us in the curbside pickup. When she saw Lulu, my little fur baby, she made the biggest fuss over her. It warmed my heart to see such a positive interaction. In these days, the food industry is one of the hardest places to work. Staff are underpaid, overworked and they are always short-staffed. It is so easy to feel beaten down by our economy today. There was no greeting. No one there to take your order you had to order off of the kiosk and not one worker told me that, I was just standing there. Another customer told me how to order. Then when they handed me my food there was no thank you or anything. Terrible service. I understand being short of staff, I've worked at McDonald's but you always greet your customers and treat them well!!!

Thought this McDonald's on Hwy 70 was doing pretty good in the beginning but now its an hour wait in a line of 3 cars all the time just for 2 sweet teas. RIDICULOUS! By far the worst McDonald's ever to be built in such a good spot of Bartlett
