McCrae's Country Cafe

This review will sound odd. We went in on a Sunday and we sat and sat and sat. We finally had to ask the person bussing tables to see if we could get service. We did realize the lady taking our order was taking everyone else's. She was working (at least our whole half of the restaurant) alone on a Sunday! Her attitude never faltered. Her service was impeccable. The guy who helped us in the beginning made sure we had coffee and refills of water. The food was absolutely outstanding and the price was just right. It may have taken over an hour but it was well worth the trouble. A good lesson in slowing down and enjoying good food and good service!

Lemonade was good, ham & bacon was perfect! Hash browns not so much very disappointed.

The server was really attentive and friendly. He was quick to provide service and coffee refills. The food was cooked perfectly and took no time to come out. My only issue was the food tasted off. It tasted like the oil needed to be changed or griddle cleaned. I'm hoping it was just an off day.
