McAlister's Deli

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not crowded, but not empty either. Ordered an unsweet iced tea and the French dip with fruit. The counter person was pretty disinterested - no greeting or smile - just walked up to the register after I had been there for a few minutes and waited to take the order (note: I smiled and said hello). The iced tea was great, and came in a big cup. The food arrived quickly, and everything was correct. The sandwich was large, and the side of fruit was fresh and tasty. All in all, I would definitely go back again, but would suggest a bit of customer service training for the staff.

The food was very good - we ordered the half sandwich, half salad menu. Portions were very large, food was flavorful, and was served quickly. The staff - I think it was a manager or assistant manager - could not complete our order correctly. I paid, sat down and he came to our table and said that I pulled my card out too soon and had to redo it. I'd already gotten the charge from my bank on my phone. After doing it the 2nd time I went back to my seat and he came over again, now claiming the machine was malfunctioning. Again, my bank had notified me of the 2nd charge, but I went back. I told him that I would be back if I got charged 3x. He got very rude and said, "well, we'll be right here - we aren't going anywhere." He then kept repeating, "I promise you, you won't be charged 3x", very condescending. To be honest, it ruined the whole lunch for me and I likely won't be back. Funny how one person's attitude can make such a big difference.

Good variety of soups, salads and sandwiches. The staff was very friendly, they came and cleared our dishes as we finished and brought us refills even though this is not a restaurant with service. Seems to be popular with togo orders with a dedicated entry door for pickup. Plenty of seating and has always been clean when we visit. I recommend the club sandwich and the very good strawberry lemonade. Cookies do not disappoint :) Parking: Plenty of parking around the building as located at a corner spot of the shopping center. Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible parking and tables to sit at.
