Maxwell's Beef

If you want a place where they have the gyro, hot-dog, hamburger, pizza-puff (not the fancy ones.. the pizza puff you grew up on); this is it. This is a place you don't take for granted. Why are you going to McDonalds when places like this exist? We got dinner here last night and I ended up going again for lunch today. We just moved to Lisle in the last few months and this is the first 'burger joint' that has given me hope. Staff is exactly how you'd expect.

Fresh, made to order food. Great burgers, and beefs big enough to share! Fresh cut fries with skin on are the best! Go there hungry and you won't be disappointed!

I've been going to this place for over a decade. When I moved to California I missed it a lot and when we moved back to Illinois it was the first place we ate at. I now live 30 minutes away so I don't get out there as much as I used to but we still take the time to go out there and eat. The owners are two surly looking brothers who are amazing people if you take a minute to chat them up and get to know them. The food here is a great representation of Chicago style food and they are super generous with their fry portions! Also try the Italian Ice. Still the best I've ever had!
