Max's Es-ca

The staff and the service was very good. Tony was our server and he did a great job. Other than the pleasant service, there was no reason to go to this restaurant. I ordered the breaded pork chop and it was the worst pork chop I can remember eating. It was overloaded with balsamic and the meat was incredible dry and tasteless. We also ordered the cavatelli special and it was basically a bland pasta salad as an entree. It was surprisingly bad. The gnocchi was ok but not tasty and the gnocchi were large and not cooked properly. It's all basically diner food. There are many other great restaurants in the area that are deserving of the expense of going out to eat.

I had my mother’s retirement here and it was perfect. We had it in the back tent and it was so pretty with the fairy lights. Everyone loved the food and they even took a special order of Spinach Fettuccini for my cousin because its her favorite dish there. The sangria was yummy, no one had an empty glass the staff on top of everything.

Not a bad experience overall, however feel like the place was over hyped. While some of the food was absolutely delicious some dishes were not up to the par. Were a large party and had quiet a few steaks and non of them were fully cooked right. At the same time the fish was absolutely perfect. The service was ok, but could be better.
