The most authentic Italian food I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing! The seasoning was perfect. Nothing was bland. Literally will come back to Cleveland just for Maxi’s
I know just about everyone raves over the calamari, but yuck! It’s soggy not crispy. I asked our server about it & this is the way they prepare the dish. Lightly dust with flour & flash fry and then sauté in olive oil, lemon juice, seasoning & tomato basil sauce. This results in a soggy calamari. So, if that’s your thing, enjoy. We returned it. The rest of our meal was fine as was the service.
