It definitely lives up to the hype!!! Don’t miss out on trying this delicious original version of the Juicy Lucy. Parking can be tight in the neighborhood on the weekends Be sure you’re careful and don’t bite into it too early…..they’re not lying then they say the cheese is molten LAVA! The dive bar feel makes this place even more special. Men, you’ll get a kick out of the urinal in the bathroom ????
The original. The best. No frills. No nonsense. They know what we want. Juicy Lucy, fries for the table, and beer. Loved the hazy IPA.
Loved Matt’s Bar. Prices were reasonable. Food was delicious. Thought we were going to have to wait 40 minutes for cooking time, but I think our food was ready in 20 minutes. Fries were a huge order but the waitress was kind enough to let us know when we ordered. Only negative is my non burger eating daughter didn’t like anything on the menu so she had fries and soda for lunch. She missed out on a delicious burger! Bar looks to not have been updated ever, but it’s charming. No table big enough for our party of 9, so we sat 2 tables near each other in the way back. Would definitely recommend and try again if we return to the area.
