Had dinner at Matthew's tonight. Spent $40 for two plates. (This included tip.) The food was inedible. The fried chicken was so dry and could not bite into it. The vegetables tasted old. The rolls were like a brick. I used to really love this place. It has really gone down. Will not be back.

My family and I have been frequenting this little gem for at least 25 years. For good southern cuisine and a "down home" feel, this place can't be beat. They have really spruced things up over the past few years, making the dining experience even better. The food is always on point, and the staff has become consistently more and more friendly. I am so glad we have them!
