Matt Denny's Ale House Restaurant

Stopped in for dinner and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic. I had the Chicken Vechia with spinach and corn chowder. It was amazing. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. My waitress, Korina, was terrific. Big smile a great personality. Would definitely come back.

I liked the setting. It's dimly lit and there's a ton of games on over the bar. It can get a little loud but it's everyone having a good time. I had some food, the Buffalo Chicken Salad and it was really tasty. The chicken was fried well and my salad chilled and cut to perfection. It was overall a good experience.

My wide and I got there during happy hour and we ordered the fish and chips and calamari and she got a margarita and I a glass of wine. Fish and chips were excellent and the drinks were good also. We decided to ear dinner and ordered the ribeye steak with garlic mashed and sauted spinach. The. Sides were great but the steak was awful. Half was fat and gristle. We let our waiter know and he gave us his discount. We also had the chocolate cake which was ok. Overall I would try this place again especially for happy hour but would definitely avoid the steaks. Our waiter ( I believe his name was Kurt was great. He actually saved the day for us.
