This place was suggested to me by a local and they were absolutely right! This place was AMAZING! Columbian/Creole fusion food unlike anything I'd ever had before. We had some cocktails and started with the bunuelos, which were a new item to us. They were fantastic and unique. Little round fritters made with cheese that are then cut in half and stuffed with braised lamb. Sooooo good! We each had an arepa for dinner. I had the skirt steak with plantains and beans and my wife had one with shrimp. These things were arguably the best things we ate whilst in NOLA. It was messy and flavorful and everything I'd hoped it would be. One thing to note is that this place is a little outside of downtown/French Quarter, so the walk was a little longer than I expected. We also had to walk past a not-so-nice part of town to get there, but it wasn't scary or anything. The neighborhood it is in was being renovated I guess, as the roads were under construction and many buildings nearby were boarded up. B

This will NOT be my last time at this place! And I am glad I don’t live close because they would have ALL my money. Food is prepared fresh as you order it and the flavors of every meal dance in your mouth. I tried the street corn, ceviche, beef & chicken skewers and a shrimp empanada like entree. I enjoyed my pineapple margaritas and I will be going back next month. This really needs to be a monthly thing ALL SUMMER! I can’t wait to go back. There is no parking lot, only street parking that is the only negative.

Absolutely zero complaints about this place. It was my first time having a non-trader Joe's arepa and it was amazing! I will definitely be back as there are several other things on the menu that I'd like to try. The service was great Miss Gabby was wonderful and so funny and I loved her so much! The space was cute and comfortable laid back, not fancy. Good location with parking abundant! I don't remember using the bathroom so I can't comment on that but everything else was definitely 10 out of 10. Parking: Plenty of street parking
