One of my favorite breakfast spots! Super cute atmosphere, friendly service, reasonable prices & very good food. Love their coffee, eggs Benedict, cake slices & warm donuts! Just had the lemon berry marscapone cake today & it’s delish. Also tried a vanilla chocolate cake with nuts. The red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting is perfection! So good! Mary, the owner is super nice and thanked me for continuing to support their small business.
What a very pleasant restaurant. My breakfast was simply delicious. We came from California, and a local resident brought us to the restaurant, where we were taken to a table by the owner of the place. The one big room was decorated to please adults as well as children. My husband ordered the red velvet french toast, I had crepes, both were delicious . The staff manifested the enthusiasm of the beautiful owner. Beauty and and intellect were the best traits of the owner. I will be back when I travel back to Chicago again.
