Mary Eddy's Dining Room

My husband and I thought this was an easy choice since we we’re staying at the 21C. We made reservations for dinner and when we arrived. We noticed the room was only 25% full. Yet, we were sat at the bar with tiny tables meant for cocktails not meant for dinner. First course was the shrimp cocktail, which was described as spicy. The dominant spice was salt. The salad was next, beautiful presentation but forgot to dry the greens. The Main course was Duck and the Flat Iron steak. The Duck was incredible. However, the Flat Iron Steak was well not medium as requested. When we informed the waitress, she was not apologetic but seemed upset. At that point we decided to take the delicious Pinot that we ordered back to our room. We enjoy dining out and have enjoyed some of the other 21C restaurants. I’m willing to say, maybe it was an off day for the staff. We would consider coming back for cocktails. The room is lovely. We travel here for business, so always looking for a beautiful

Gorgeous atmosphere, friendly staff and the food and drinks were phenomenal. It was very quiet on a Saturday night to the point that I was shocked at how amazing everything was and there wasn’t a line out to door trying to get in. It is a perfect date night spot. The carrot cake ice cream sandwich was a little dry but that is literally my only complaint. Everything else was amazing.

Had a wonderful time, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was outstanding. I definitely will visit here again, our waiter was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Recommended dishes Cotton Candy, Whole Trout … More
