This was an absolutely terrible experience. A few buddies and I went to this Steakhouse after a Pirates game. We were very eager to eat here after the game. When we arrived the gentleman at the front was very nice. We were then seated and the the place had very poor lighting to the point where we could barely see the food we were eating. In addition to this the music was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other speaking. We also saw our waiter about twice throughout our meal. I ordered the NY Strip which was very good, but I wasn’t able to have it “Blackened” (seared crusting on the steak). I then approached the manager and another server asking them to change the channel from “Pulp Fiction” to the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. They both looked at me and said “No chance bud. We run a constant loop of pulp fiction and there’s no chance that we chance this channel.” So, my friends and I had an absolutely terrible experience here after the Pirates game for the low price of $400. I saw a lot of bad reviews so I was very weary to try this place. The service was incredible, the food was amazing, atmosphere and ambiance on point. The music was not loud at all for those that saw all those reviews. The tvs did only have gangster movies on but if you want to watch the game go to one of the many sports bars in the casino. They even had to quietly kick someone out who was very drunk and very loud but they did it so quietly that unless you were acutely aware you didn’t even know there was an issue. I was impressed all around.
I despise sending steak back and will usually just muster through it, but from the first bite, my first filet had the consistency of shoe leather. Once I looked and saw that my medium rare steak looked medium well, then it went back to the kitchen. My husband’s filet was likewise over cooked and had horrible texture. My second steak was much better. It had the best flavor and texture and I ended up sharing it with my husband because he couldn’t eat his. They did offer us olives instead of bread service, so that was a plus. It was the most we’ve ever spent at a restaurant and was worse than most truck stop sirloins. Espresso martini was Incredible, but avoid the steak
