Mariscos La Marea

For the reviews this place has my experience wasn’t as bad as expected. The food was good, warm and tasty. Definitely could use more waitresses with a more welcoming face. We got seated by whom I believe is the Manager as her apparel was different from the waitresses. She did not great us properly we simply got asked if we wanted a booth or table and got seated. It’s okay for what it is don’t expect A1 service because you will be very disappointed.

I did not like the flavor, it is really hard to find a good Mexican seafood restaurant, if someone could recommend me one I will really appreciate it.

Had the beef fajitas, they were room temperature, and chalk filled with gristle. The wait staff seemed to try their best to accommodate but they didn’t seem like the most experienced at customer service. And to save the worst for last. This place had a DJ and the music was easily 120 decibels… about what you would expect at a live concert experience. We had a large group but no one could talk before, during nor after the meal. I was highly disappointed that when we asked if they could bring it down the DJ would bring it down for thirty seconds and then it was right back up. This place seemed to have an owner that wants to re-live his or her glory days back in the club. This place was not for dancing not did it convert into a club. The DJ keep the gains at the same blasting capacity all evening. Don’t waste your time here. It’s a restaurant but doesn’t provide a a remotely enjoyable dinning experience. To be clear, stay away from here.
