This is a great treasure of the Chicago area! Bakery: try the Biscotti, either with or without chocolate. Also, this is a top choice for genuine Calabreze & Sicilian pastries. Restaurant: Terrific Italian sausage with peppers & onions; great chicken. All the pasta dishes are great. We think the simple pasta with red sauce & meatballs is very reminiscent of how good it tasted in Rome or Florence.
Homemade taste and generous portions. I will always support a mom n' pop restaurant. Very modest place but food will not disappoint.
