Margo's Plant Based Santa Monica

We went to Margo’s for a dinner after seeing the great reviews on HappyCow. We ordered a starter which was really good, perhaps the best part of the meal. The customer service was outstanding in general too. Friendly, quick, and helpful. On the other hand, my pizza was just so so, and my partner’s pasta was bland. If we went back to this place we would probably order something else. Positive experience overall even though the food was just average.

Food is amazing. All plant based and really nicely made. Drinks are really fresh and tasty. I recommend the skinny margarita. Over all; service could be better. At arrival we almost felt that we were disturbing the staff. Not clear how it works with drinks and food. Some of the drinks were served to the table, the rest of the order you have to pick up yourself in the bar. Tips is to use trays if you serve one, you can serve three. Specially if they are on the same order and the same kind. You will not be offered water to the table which for me is strange in the the warm weather and very spicy food. With better service I would have given a five star rate. (Pictures a bit red because they use red umbrellas at the outdoor patio)

LOVE everything about Margo’s!!! I wish I could give 10 stars. The food is beyond delicious and all of my friends (both vegan and non) say the same! Even my kids love the food. Lauren the manager is an amazing addition as well as Mike the bartender. Perfect restaurant to sit outside too, with or without children! I love the environment and energy here. More restaurants need to make the switch for our health, the animals, and the environment. Thank you Margo’s for doing this. ????????????????????
