Margaritas has been around for over 25 years for a reason. They make good quality Tex Mex food that everyone loves. When I come back from traveling it is my go to splurge. If I ever move away from Kansas City it is the one restaurant I will really miss. My favorites are the beef and cheese enchilada, beef and chicken crunchy tacos, eat chicken nachos. Margaritas are very good however like most other Mexican places they don't offer a good authentic non-sugary version. The strawberry blended margaritas are pretty good. Since COVID, you can order margaritas to go. Big bonus points.Another popular and delicious item on their menu is their margarita dip. They're salsa is also very good and is sold in most local stores. One thing I like about this location versus the original downtown location is that they have a nice open patio. This was my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, had great flavor, and the portions were big; I ordered the taco platter (#15) and have plenty for another meal. Marissa was the right amount of attentive, polite, and knowledgeable, and was very personable. (Little did we know this was her 1st night by herself, she had the poise of a seasoned waitperson!) Mariah, her trainer, was just as pleasant. I will definitely be back!
