A nice little breakfast spot if you are good with noise (and calories). The fast casual layout means that you'll wait in line to give your order, then wait to hear your order called out...their gimmick seems to be finding out something about you, and calling your order based on your answer. I guess in theory it's supposed to help them learn a little about each customer, but it can be a bit confusing when most customers are trained to just listen for their name. This tends to lead to employees belting out the random word multiple times until the specific customer catches on. The staff all seem pretty friendly, when not hollering for you to come get your food. Sometimes they can be a little too friendly, like the older woman cleaning tables who began carrying on a conversation with the poor soul next to us who clearly just wanted to eat his breakfast with his kids. I love maple street!!! I have since our eyes first met over a biscuit on Jacksonville, FL years ago. I walked in and already knew what I wanted to order. Old faithful and the most unique biscuit ok the menu…the squeaking goat. A golden fried chicken breast that has seasoned batter (I’m positive so trust me). A homemade pepper jelly that is sweet and savory at the same time. A biscuit that can stand up to this kind of flavor weight is the perfect vehicle. The biscuit has a soft middle and a crunchier exterior: all the better to keep the pepper jelly in place of course. The marvel that tops it all off…that goat cheese medallion! A fried piece of goat cheese with a creamy center and the tart flavor required to tie the dish together. It’s as heavenly as it sounds. Whew! So happy that maple street is now 10 minutes away from home. Yay!

sigh.. I was happy to see another breakfast place. you order at the counter and pick up your own food. Plus, bus your own table. They mentioned thay you can customize any of the dishes and basically create your own meal . The cashiers were nice, but the food was gross. For this place to be all about biscuits even the biscuits weren't spectacular. I got the veggie frittaffle. I just threw it away because it was gross and my potatoes were burnt and dry. my son got the chocolatechip waffle which was also burnt. We did like the grits although we paid for extra cheese and didn't get it. My husband got a chicken biscuits called smoking goat. The chicken looked like a frozen chicken nugget. the spicy jam wasn't good either. Our little one got eggs and biscuits he ate the biscuits but didn't like the eggs.
