Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant & Cantina | Cave Creek

Definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I first want to start out by saying that there were only about 5 tables being used when we arrived and close to 6 staff waiting on everyone. So it wasn’t busy AT ALL! Our server completely ignored us, walked past our table multiple times, It took 15 min to just get chips and salsa after being seated. And we had to literally call our waiter over after ANOTHER 15 min just to ask for water. He took our food order but made us feel like me inconvenienced him. Waited another 10 min and watched our waiter walk back and forth looking like he wasn’t doing anything. Made eye contact with him 3 times trying to get him to realize he still hasn’t brought us waters and he would divert his eyes. It was at this point that me, my wife, and my 15 month old daughter who was incredibly thirsty from the chips decided to leave. No restaurant should treat their customers like this.

Manuel's has been the corner stone for mexican food in Phoenix for over 40 years. We truly have enjoyed all of the time's we spent at Manuel's with excellent service and perfect presentation of all orders. Thanks to all the staff at Manuel's and many more years of continued flavors of the beast mexican food.

If you haven't tried their fajita tostada with chicken breast it is a must! I love this family restaurant. All tastes great and the servers are accommodating!
