Mangos Caribbean Restaurant - Westend

I ordered through UBER eats a curry shrimp entree with Mac and cheese. The food that was served was unrecognizable. Not only was my plate horrible but the condition of the other plates I ordered as well. You could tell the food was old. Never have I seen such horrible looking food. I couldn’t even put my fork through it. Being that it was inedible, I decided to take the plate back to Mangos where I was told that the “Owner” of this store told his staff to not replace plates/items and for customers to take it up with UBER eats. The gentleman in front could not replace our food in fear of losing his job. This is insane to put your employees in a position where they have to take the blunt of costumers complaints and not be able to correct a situation in fear of losing their jobs. That’s pure greediness from the owner. To hear that a customer could not get her peas and rice replaced for white rice(which is what she ordered) due to worry about losing money is pathetic. I typically order from Mangos on Auburn Ave however I decided to try this other location and I was HIGLY disappointed. As I ordered Rasta Pasta thinking I was getting pasta with different meat included because that’s Rasta Pasta BUT I was delivered with just a plate of noodles. When I called and spoke to whomever over the phone she confirmed that’s Rasta pasta without meat, since when does Rasta pasta come without meat? And only thing she had to offer was add meat to the dish at extra cost , 5 thumbs down I hate it here!!! You guys are charging 17$ for a plate of noodles that’s ridiculous!!! And broccoli was undercooked

Don’t let the colors fool you!!!! My 1st and last time I would purchase food from here. I’m going to start with my order experience. Ordered the food and after about 15min when I saw the third person come in and left with there order I decided to ask how long it’s going to take. She asked the chef and came back and mentioned 30 minutes ????. Ma’am I’ve already been waiting 15 minutes. About 25 minutes later ????????‍♀️: I received my order. The tofu was unrecognizable and had absolutely no flavor to it. I’m not even sure if the chef is Caribbean because the curry flavor was not hitting. The cabbage was extra soft and the vegetables was way too salty. We use spices in the Caribbean not just SALT Not to mention the cost advertised, l I believe was about $10 and I paid about $16. Don’t WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
