Food was good. Waitstaff wasn’t very attentive. It wasn’t overly busy, and it felt like we were a bit of a burden.
Terrible customer service. We were seated and told someone would be with us shortly. We were the second table with people in the restaurant. After 4 employees walked by us without acknowledging us and 15 minutes later, I went to the hostess stand and asked for someone to come take our order. 5 minutes later I went back and 3-4 employees were all talking and laughing at the hostess stand and I asked where our wait person was and she was there and became defensive basically telling us to chill out so we left. No desire to eat at a restaurant whose employees do not value me as a customer.
When your order is not what you expected, Mangieri's will make it right and that is exactly what they did. Their specialty dishes have always been very good ~ a good neighborhood cafe' to have a beer or cocktail or wine and any of their menu items. Bon Appetit !!
