Mandarin House Restaurant

I feel like a chicken dish is a good baseline test when I'm trying out a restaurant. Here I've tried the Mandarin chicken, and the General Tso's chicken dinners. I found them both to be subpar in flavor, and I got to rank it the worst General Tso's of Northeast Ohio that I've tried. Even Walmart's General Tso's is more delicious to me than this. The only thing this place had going for it, for me, was the BBQ spare ribs, which apparently they discontinued, Even though if you go to the restaurants website right now, right there on their homepage is still prominently displayed: BBQ Spare Ribs. But if you want to call them to clear up this confusion, the woman answering the phone will rudely bark at you that they're not available anymore. I have no reason to ever return to this place.

Very clean restaurant. Lovely, unique decor and atmosphere. The food was okay, very typical Chinese restaurant food. Price perhaps a little high for the food you receive. Decent overall. Would definitely go back. Vegetarian options: Have several vegetarian options. Parking: Lots of parking.

The food and service was just as amazing as it was 15 years ago. It do not get anymore consistent knowing that anytime I take a trip to Ohio that I can receive a large amount of food for great prices. Anyone should make it a point to stop in for a meal and a new favorite spot.
