We went here on a nice cool sunny weekend. Lots of tables open inside and outside. Inside is a bit dingy, stuffy, small tables, a bit crowded and noisy. Outside (in the back, way back, beyond steel door and WCs) is excellent. About 15 tables, steel, not very comfortable but ambience far better. The fountain there is a very nice touch. Hanging plants. Parking lot view, well not so great but this is the city. Service, a bit slow and erratic, but friendly, folks seem overworked. We walked back in and ordered, not a problem. Food took a bit longer than expected, apologies offered. The sandwiches were very good. Falafel is not easy to make, the right temperature and surface texture, right spices. Many times it squishy green and soft, brown and powder outside. Or worse, oily. This was done very well. Only issue was it was served cool, not hot. The hummus (also not easy to make well) was done correct, appropriate garlic and lemon, but nothing else detectable (cumin? sumac?, par

Based on the reviews, we were looking forward to eating at Mamoun’s but the place didn’t meet our expectations. The receptionist was not friendly and directed us to a computer screen to place our take-away order. The portions were disappointingly small for a ME restaurant with smaller pita loaves and small to tiny meat and falafel inside with mostly lettuce as a filling. One of our kids refused to eat their wrap because they ordered chicken but the meat looked like lamb. When we asked we were told it was chicken but we sure couldn’t tell. The humus was a little too liquid. We are more picky than the average patron because we are originally from the ME and know what authentic ME food is like. This however tasted more like food truck food and wasn’t very good.

This restaurant is small, but it is quaint, aesthetically pleasing and the staff are polite & courteous! The food & drink are delicious (especially so for their tamarind drink & falafel sandwich), reasonably priced the seating areas are clean & appropriately spaced; Dining in has been a terrific experience! Overall, it's a wonderful little place that's out of the way, quiet, and good eats!
