Mamma Onesta's Italian Restaurant

This review is based on just the Children's spaghetti and 1 meatball. I can't order a full meal since I'm working valet for this place and have to run around constantly so this little meal hit the spot and the meatball is adult sized and well seasoned. The spaghetti sauce is prepared just like a top Italian restaurant like Rosebuds prepares it, which I thought was the best spaghetti in all of Chicagoland but Onestas is now a contender in my opinion. Definitely recommend the spaghetti here, so delicious and they even include a small side of olive oil with minced garlic and a small bread roll hot out of the oven! All delivered to you to-go in 15 minutes. No waiting.

Great Italian. The mushroom and minestrone soups are great. The NY strip is cooked to a perfect medium rare. The tiramisu is a must have ????. I highly recommend if you are in the area!

My entire family loves this restaurant and chooses to celebrate most occasions here. I had the blackened salmon in a lobster cream sauce that was on special and if it was added to the menu I’d come here weekly! I don’t care for pasta so I wish they’d offer the salmon special permanently. Their creamy Italian dressing is incredible as is the chicken parmigiana. We are very thankful to have such a great local restaurant!
