New owner, new menu, fantastic staff. We had a awesome dinner here with the soft re opening. VERY unique, delicious Italian menu. Highly recommend. They take reservations. BYOB

I've visited Mambo Italia a few times, and was hesitant to review the first two times, because I thought they might be still working out some kinks. Here are the things that I think are working well at Mambo: The food is made with high-quality ingredients. You are really getting what you pay for, and the pricing seems fair for the quality. The greens and the cheese on the pizza were perfect. I love seeing the brick oven in the corner, and the pizza comes out with the characteristic bubbly crust. Some room for improvement: Two out of three times we have been here, the pizza took nearly an hour. When I asked the server if they were running slow, she said that this is about what it usually takes, so I'm guessing they may be doing too much takeout business or have too many tables in the space. In my opinion, it's the tables, because you feel too close to the table next to you, and you are sometimes shouting to your dinner companion to be heard over the others in the room. We had the best ladies night dining experience here! The food was much better than anticipated as there are new owners, a new menu, and the pasta/mozzarella is made fresh daily. The food was better than a high end restaurant but the prices were moderate in comparison. The owner checked on us multiple times- they really care to please all guests!
