Mama Louisa's is a local Tucson treasure. It is an Italian American restaurant that has classic, traditional, and specialty dishes that are sure to have something to please everyone in your party. Every time I've dined at Mama Louisa's has been a treat. I typically love to get their house salad and Lasagna or Joe's Special. Their house red sauce is one of my favorites. It had the perfect balance of sweet and savory which compliments any dish it is in. I have also had their Manicotti and chicken fettuccine Alfredo which were also delicious. All meals come with their house made breadsticks which are fluffy, warm, and lightly seasoned. They are great on their own or dipped in sauce. Further, the bar hosts local beers, a variety of wines, and cocktails, if you want to have a drink with your meal. Mama Louisa's is also very worth the price. I definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion!
It was a nice time & good food. We tried new and shared with staff was our first time along with it was our Anniversary. Started with the Brushetta (half without cheese), shared a side salad and husband had Joes Style Chicken Parmesian sub noodles for mushrooms (he loved it) and I had Joe Style lasagna (great). Was a bit warm in the back of restaurant however, Sarah was a wonderful server. Would visit again.
Just go... ypu WILL NOT be disappointed! I had the Italian Stuffer, homemade sausage, and meatballs in their signature homemade red sauce!
