Compared to other Poke places I have tried, Makai is definitely the one with the freshest ingredients. They could charge so much more for the quality of the ingredients they offer. I would definitely recommend trying the poke tacos. The crispy tortilla is nothing like the ones you find at places like Taco Bell. This tortilla is thicker and super crunchy and has a distinct corn flavor. The combination of flavors and textures in the poke tacos was something I had never tried before. A must-try!
Super friendly staff and amazing service! We were trying for the first time and they walked us through the whole process and gave delicious recommendations! We took our time and had a nice sit down lunch and even tried a cheesecake that was the bomb! 100% recommend!
