Magnolia Room Cafeteria

The outside give off a old type of feeling/ vibe n I didn't think I would like the atmosphere (BUT) the inside is modern n clean. The food is excellent, not over salted n the staff is really nice. Don't judge the outside go in.

GARY IS AMAZING!!!!!!! GO FOR HIM!!!!! I ordered Catfish, Sweet Potatoe Souffle and Cabbage. I will definitely get Yams next time, souffle was ok, catfish was pretty tasty and cabbage was great. This plate with a drink was $19.98.

I went to this restaurant for the first time earlier this week. The staff was very friendly upon arrival. The food looks amazing, and there was so many choices. The prices are somewhat high seeing I got a leg quarter that costs 5 bucks for a bag at the store. You get an entree, two sides, choice of bread and a drink. I got the mashed potatoes with fresh, Mac and cheese and sweet potato souffle. I also got deviled eggs, some kind of pie, and key lime cake. The deviled eggs look amazing, but we're dry and bland. The keylime cake was not good at all, I'm not sure what it tasted like, but it missed the mark. The mashed potatoes were bland and not fluffy. The Mac n cheese was bland and greasy. The sweet potato souffle was very good, but a little too sweet (i ordered a lot so some food is not pictured). Overall I was a little disappointed, but I do understand cafeteria style restaurants often don't season too much for dietary reasons. I would go back but would prob stick to veggies for
