We decided to go and have a drink, the UT game was on multiple TV’s. When you walk in you’re greeted and told to sit wherever you like and all orders are done at the bar. We sat at the bar and my daughter ordered a chicken sandwich, extra fries and pretzel bites. The chicken sandwich was HUGE, fries were nice fresh and salty. The pretzel bites were really good as well. Orders were fast and it was a fun atmosphere.
Honest review. Our first time there around 630ish on a Friday. It had a good crowd, music but NO staff. Just one bartendar, another lady who was his friend that showed up to drink but then started helping as a server (she was super nice despite not knowing anything), another young lady who was either high or just lost in the sauce and we are not even sure she worked there - she kept walking around with an ipad and appeared lost! There was also an older gentleman but idk who he was, maybe the owner? They tried to make it work but it was a mess. The beer was cold but only 3 or 4 selections on tap and the food wasn't bad but.....I had the All American burger and it was really burnt on one side.. it tasted burnt but I ate it anyway. They kept asking for our credit card to start a tab after we ordered and we were like ok whatever, but then they asked 3 more times. It was very disorganized. I honestly expected to see a crazy amount of money come out of our acct the next day. We asked the lo
This isn't the same as Maggie Mae's on 6th Street... but it's a good addition to Old Town Leander, TX. The beer is cold, around $5 for domestic. The current outdoor deck is not too inviting. However, we were told they recently purchased the lot next door and they have some cool plans for outdoor expansion. Expect your typical bar food, wings, burgers, fries, hot dogs. The chips were stale... but the salsa and guac was great. The burgers taste like they are cooked on an open flame grill, very tasty, and cooked perfectly. They have a fun game area with Guitar Hero, Pac Man, Pong, skee ball and more. The place is clean and the staff were very nice and accommodating. This is a great place to drink and hang with friends. We will be back.
