Came just based off the reputation of the Google reviews and we loved it. Yes, a little pricey but you're getting some HUGE portions and quality food. (Honestly, the wife and I could've split one meal) Highlights were the beef tips and rice and the Mac and cheese. Honestly though everything was good. Chef Steve is a master! We'll be back soon!
Mmm mmmm good!! As always ~ lines are long but it's DEFINITELY worth the wait to get some home-made tasty food. The kool-aid is soooooo GOODT!! They always take good care of me every time I visit......HEYYYY STEVIE it's Kay with an A (insider) ????????
Was visiting from Indiana. Tried for first time after friend highly recommended it, and it was the best soul food restaurant we’ve ever eaten at! Everything was fresh and hot, and the staff was professional and friendly. We had the ox tails, greens, yams, broccoli cheese casserole, 3 different desserts-absolutely delicious! And when I say even the Kool-aid was good-if we lived there, it would be a regular stop for sure! Definitely going back when we return to Dallas! God bless you!
