M bistro Restaurant

Ate a late night dinner with my bestie during our visit to New Orleans. Had the strawberry walnut salad and shrimp poor boy. The portion was generous and so delicious! Great service and the living room atmosphere was so comfortable and relaxing!

The food was delicious in my opinion. This review is specifically for the quality of service provided which was subpar. I get there and had to wave someone to seat me and after that I waited quite a bit for a server to come and tend to me. I got fairly annoyed when my main course was given to the wrong table. The server finally comes over and asks if I'm having dessert when I hadn't even received my order. Seems like there's a lack of organization and communication amongst the wait staff because other clients left due to them taking so long to even greet them. I consider myself to be a generous diner when it comes to eating out. I don't really go by the suggested percentages to tip, I go by the quality of service I am provided. If you serve me well, then I will tip you well. It's a nice atmosphere with good food, but I'm not sure about going back.

My wife and i came down to new Orleans for our anniversary and was trying to find a perfect dinner spot to suprise her. I came across a few and reserved but then cancelled when i found M bistro. It had really good reviews so i knew it would be a perfect choice. When we arrived they were so nice and polite and gave us a booth thagmt felt more like a personal small room it was perfect. Our server was very nice and wish us a happy anniversary. The food was so good and the waitress brought us some beinets with Happy Anniversary written with chocolate. We were amazed at this place and we will definitely return! The prices are reall great as well!
