Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant

After being extremely ticked off at my wife, that I absolutely love, she figured that I was hangry. She loves Mexican food and quickly thought ???? ???? why not Lupes! I ordered the soft chicken taco enchiladas. We got our food fast and hot. The moment when the warm, cheesy goodness hit my mouth (pause), I completely forgot about why I was even upset at my wife. Until we got in the car and she started talking to me again. We may need therapy. But Queso is so much cheaper.

Found out on our bill there’s no free refills on lemonade so our son’s drink price could’ve been a bar tab. We were charge $1 for a very small side of sour cream. I hate that. Also weren’t told until we saw the up-charge on our bill. The omelette I got was a size of a taco with about two pieces of fajita meat inside. It was covered with cheese which I can only guess was then microwaved because there is burnt cheese stuck on my plate all around the egg and under the cup of beans - like to hide it. Not too bad otherwise. I liked the plates and fancy glasses. Food is okay but pricey. Very nice ambience and decor, but we prefer Chuys.

This was my first visit to Lupe’s but I will definitely be back! The service was fantastic and the food was mouth watering. I got the beef fajitas and they were so tender and tasty. The tortillas are huge and are made fresh. This is definitely a place that is not to be missed!
